This policy explains how Elrod Technologies Group, LLC ("ETG," "we," "us," or "our") bills for WAXBOARD subscriptions and credits. It is part of the Terms of Use and should be read with the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. How Paid Access Works
WAXBOARD offers paid access through subscription plans, credit purchases, or both. Plan details, prices, and what each plan includes are shown at checkout and on our pricing page.
2. Subscriptions
A subscription gives you access to your plan's features for each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout). Plans may differ in features, seats, included credits, storage, integrations, and support.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize ETG and our payment processor to charge your payment method for each renewal, plus applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For annual plans, we will email you a reminder before renewal.
3. Credits
Credits are a usage unit consumed when you run eligible actions, such as document processing, premium AI workflows, or other high-cost operations. The credit cost of an action is shown in the product before you run it. Creating workspaces and ordinary navigation and editing do not consume credits.
Credits may be purchased, included with a plan, or granted promotionally:
- Purchased credits do not expire. They stay in your account until you use them or they are removed under our policies, for example when your account is closed.
- Plan-included credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
- Promotional credits expire as stated in the promotion.
Credits have no cash value, are not a stored-value product or currency, and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged outside WAXBOARD.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to provide accurate billing information and keep your payment method current. ETG does not store full card numbers.
5. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and retry the charge. If payment is still not received 14 days after the first failed attempt, we may pause paid features and make your account read-only until payment is made. Your content is not deleted because of a failed payment; it remains subject to the Data Retention Policy.
6. Price Changes
We may change prices, plans, or credit packages. For existing subscriptions, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase takes effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
7. Taxes
Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes, they will be added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
8. Invoices and Receipts
Receipts and billing history are available in your account dashboard or billing portal and are sent by email. Please report any billing discrepancy to us within 60 days of the charge.
9. Free Tiers, Trials, and Promotions
We may offer free tiers, free trials, beta access, discounts, or promotional credits, each subject to the eligibility rules, limits, and expiration dates stated in the offer. If a free trial converts to a paid subscription, we will tell you the price and conversion date at sign-up, and you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
