This Cookie Policy explains how Elrod Technologies Group, LLC ("ETG," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on elrodtg.com and in WAXBOARD. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which keeps small pieces of information on your device without sending them with every request. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary. These keep the site and WAXBOARD working and secure, and cannot be turned off in our preferences control:
- signing you in and keeping your WAXBOARD session active;
- protecting the site from bots and attacks (our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set security cookies for this);
- fraud prevention during checkout (set by our payment processor, Stripe); and
- remembering your cookie choices.
Preferences. These remember choices you make, such as your color theme and language. They stay on your device and are not used to track you.
Analytics. These would help us understand how the site and WAXBOARD are used so we can improve them. We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add them, they will only run if you turn on "Analytics" in the cookie preferences control.
Marketing. These would measure the results of advertising campaigns. We do not currently use marketing cookies. If we add them, they will only run if you turn on "Marketing" in the cookie preferences control.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Cookies set by the service providers named above are governed by their own privacy policies. A full list of our providers is on our subprocessor list.
4. Your Choices
You can change your choices at any time using the privacy control at the bottom of every page on elrodtg.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in, checkout, or other features from working.
Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of analytics and marketing cookies.
5. Changes
We will update this policy, and its "Last updated" date, before we start using a new type of cookie.
